Rajamouli is desperate for it!


Even after delivering many hits, which also include a 100 crore grosser Magadheera, Rajamouli is still known as ‘commercial’ director. People don’t like to brand him as a director with ‘brains’. They simply say he knows the ‘pulse’ of the audience so well that he could never commit an error in making a commercial film.

        Rajamouli wants to be in the league of ‘medhavi’ directors like Mani Ratnam, but he is anything but that. Therefore he is trying his best to look like one as his work is not earning him that name.

        Rajamouli’s recent appearances with so much grey hair are a part of his ‘workouts’ to look like a medhavi. Earlier he used to dye his hair to look young, but now he is deliberately avoiding it. Rajamouli also tries hard to make an impression that he is grounded despite of many hits. Should we call him the ‘showman’ of Tollywood or what?
